How it works

  1. 01

    Paste or upload

Paste straight from the clipboard, or pick a file from your phone. Nothing to sign up for.

  2. 02

    Check what came through

A summary rather than a preview: the title, the first lines, and counts of what the parser found. A readable A4 page does not fit a phone, so we show you what we read instead of a page you would have to squint at.

  3. 03

    Generate

Usually under a second. You can lock the phone while it works.

  4. 04

Open it, then it is gone

It opens in your usual PDF viewer — share or save it from there. The copy on the server, and your Markdown with it, is deleted within an hour.

What it handles

Headings and emphasis

All six heading levels, bold, italic and inline code, set in Inter — the same face the PDF embeds, so the preview and the file agree.

Lists, including task lists

Ordered, unordered and nested. Task lists render as real checkboxes rather than as square brackets.

Tables

With per-column alignment. Header rows repeat when a table runs across a page boundary.

Code blocks

Fenced blocks and inline code in JetBrains Mono, wrapped rather than clipped. No syntax colouring — it prints as ink.

Quotes, rules and links

Block quotes, horizontal rules, and links that stay clickable in the PDF.

Images are not fetched

An image referenced by URL is skipped and the rest of the document renders normally. The renderer makes no outbound requests at all — it never asks another server for anything on your behalf.

One payment, and the tool is yours. There is no plan to upgrade to and nothing to cancel.

Questions

What happens to my document?

It is written to a temporary file, rendered, and deleted within an hour by a scheduled job. Nobody reads it, nothing is indexed, and it is never used to train anything. The privacy page describes exactly what is written where.

Do I need an account?

No — not for the free tool and not for Pro. Access is tied to the email address you pay with. If you change browser or clear your cookies, we email you a link that restores it. There is no password, and there is no licence key to lose.

What exactly does $7 remove?

The diagonal watermark, on every PDF you generate from then on. It also raises the limits: 2 MB and around 200 pages per document, and 30 documents an hour. Nothing else about the file changes.

How large a document can I convert?

Free handles up to 500 KB, which is around 30 pages, and 5 documents an hour. Pro raises that to 2 MB and around 200 pages. The counter above the editor shows how close you are.

Which Markdown does it support?

CommonMark, plus tables and task lists. Raw HTML inside your document is removed rather than rendered, which is deliberate: it is the simplest way to be certain a pasted document cannot do anything unexpected.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 30 days, with no reason needed. There is a form on the site; if the browser is signed in to the purchase it is refunded on the spot, and otherwise a person completes it.

Why is this not a subscription?

Because it is one utility that does one job. Renting it by the month would cost you more than it is worth, and would give us a reason to keep adding things you did not ask for.

Analytics, and your choice about it

We would like to measure how this tool is used, so we can fix what confuses people. Your document is never part of that — what you type is masked and the preview is excluded from any recording. Nothing runs until you choose.
