How it works

  1. 01

    Paste your CV

Straight from the clipboard, or pick a file. A conversation you drafted it in works too.

  2. 02

    Check what came through

The name, the opening lines and counts of what was found. A readable A4 page does not fit a phone, so this does not pretend to be one.

  3. 03

    Pick a style

The same four as on a computer, in a panel that opens when you want it.

  4. 04

Open it, then it is gone

It opens in your usual PDF viewer — send it from there. The copy on the server is deleted within an hour.

What it handles

Text an ATS can read

Every word is real selectable text, not an image of text, and the layout is one column with standard section names. That is what an applicant tracking system needs in order to parse a CV at all — and it is where CVs built in design tools most often fail.

No running head, nothing hidden

These styles print no header, no footer and no page number. It is more room for the CV, and it means nothing that matters can sit in a band that a parser throws away before it starts reading.

Four styles, each with its own face

Harvard — reverse chronological, serious, what most employers expect. Modern — more air and a coloured rule under your name. Classical — formal, for academic and legal applications. Compact — everything tightened, to fit more on a page.

Drafted with an assistant? Paste the whole thing

The prompts, the turn labels and the model disclaimer are removed as the text lands, so you do not have to tidy a conversation before converting it.

Nobody reads it, including us

A CV is one of the more personal documents anybody makes. It is written to a temporary file, rendered, and deleted within an hour by a scheduled job. It is never read, never indexed, and never used to train anything.

No account to make

Nothing to sign up for and nothing stored between visits. You are not creating a profile on a job site; you are converting a file.

Questions

Will an applicant tracking system be able to read it?

That is what these styles are built for. The PDF contains real selectable text in a single column, with ordinary section headings and nothing important hidden in a header or footer — the four things a parser needs. A CV exported as an image, or laid out in two columns, is where this usually goes wrong.

How do I write my CV in plain text?

A hash for your name, two hashes for each section, a dash for each bullet. That is nearly all of it, and there is a cheat sheet on this site. The sample loaded in the editor is a working example you can type over.

Can I get it onto one page?

Try the Compact style — it tightens the spacing and type throughout, and the preview shows you the page count before you generate anything. Turning off the header and page numbers is already the default here, which buys a few lines more.

Can I add a photo, or use two columns?

No, and both are deliberate. A photo is not expected on a CV in most of the English-speaking world and can count against you where hiring is anonymised; two columns are one of the commonest reasons a tracking system garbles a CV. If you need either, a design tool is the right thing and this is not.

What happens to my CV?

It is written to a temporary file, rendered, and deleted within an hour by a scheduled job. Nobody reads it, nothing is indexed, and it is never used to train anything. If you drafted it with an assistant, note that the cleanup of that conversation happens in your browser — that text is not sent anywhere to be tidied.

Do I need an account?

No — not for the free tool and not for Pro. Access is tied to the email address you pay with. There is no password, and there is no licence key to lose.

What exactly does $7 remove?

The diagonal watermark, on every PDF you generate from then on — from this tool and from the others, because you bought it once. It also raises the limits to 2 MB and around 200 pages per document.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 30 days, with no reason needed. There is a form on the site; if the browser is signed in to the purchase it is refunded on the spot, and otherwise a person completes it.

Analytics, and your choice about it

We would like to measure how this tool is used, so we can fix what confuses people. Your document is never part of that — what you type is masked and the preview is excluded from any recording. Nothing runs until you choose.
