Ask for a refund

Enter the email address you bought with. We record the request straight away, send you a reference, and a person completes the refund — no questions and no reason needed.

One click instead, if you would rather not wait. Open the tool, choose Already bought it? and enter the same address. We email you a link; following it proves the address is yours, and the refund becomes a single button on this page.

We ask because there is no account here, deliberately: nothing identifies you to us except the address the purchase was made with. If you cannot remember which one you used, send anything you think it might be and a person will find it.

What happens then

• If this browser is signed in to the purchase, it is already done. The refund is issued straight away, with nobody waiting to read an email. That is the case when you have followed an access link, or have just come back from paying.
• Otherwise a person completes it — and the same if the payment provider needs a moment. Either way you have a reference and nothing further is needed from you.
• You get that reference immediately, on screen and by email.
• We refund through Dodo Payments, who took the payment. It returns to the card or method you used; we cannot send it anywhere else.
• How long it takes to appear is your bank’s decision, not ours.
• Your access ends when the refund goes through. Files you already downloaded are yours and are unaffected.
• You can buy again later. Nothing is blacklisted.

Your statutory rights

Our policy is 30 days, no reason needed, and it applies to everyone. Where the law where you live gives you a stronger right, that right applies and this page does not limit it. Neither replaces the other: whichever gives you more, you get.

You do not have to use this form

Replying to your receipt reaches us just as well, and so does writing to support@ownyourtool.com from the address you bought with. This page exists so that nobody has to go looking for permission to ask.
